The girls have both made post updates about their lives, so I’m going to do one too because I feel left out :/ hahahahaha

But seriously though, here’s the thing: I’m having term tests and they end on May 24th, the last ones being Philosophy and Math—yeah, death of me. I’ll try to update something or other, but I can’t make any promises. I know you’ll all miss me like hell and won’t be able to live without me while I’m gone (insert sarcasm here and a “yeah right Feli”), but I’ll try to squeeze something in on the weekends.

So I just finished my finals last week & I got all As, except one B! OMGGGGGGGGGGG. I have a 3.7 out of 4.0 GPA OMGGGGGGGGGGG.

Now, I start a summer course on Thursday, but that will be done at the end of the month. I’m not taking anything in June, so that means WRITING ALL DAY EVERYDAY! Hopefully… Hahaha. And then I leave for Spain in July, which means no writings. And then sadly, my Fall schedule starts August, literally 3 days after I get back to the states.

Just a quick update about my life, haha.

So, updates: I’m working on the next chapter of Always Be Together, but I’m starting term tests tomorrow (and through to the next three weeks too), so I really have no clue when I’ll get round to doing that. Always Be Together 11

“You’re not coming with us, Katie?” Ally asked when we pulled up into the stadium’s parking lot in Val’s car and I’d started walking the other direction.

“You guys go ahead; I’ve got to catch up with Cristian for a few minutes,” I explained and said my goodbyes to them as I hurried in the opposite direction, to where the players’ lounge was placed.

What could Cristian possibly have for me? I wondered as I walked. The hallways were familiar to me; the grand door at the end of the hallway was too.

When I pushed the enormous door open and walked past, I searched the room but couldn’t find Cristian. Thiago was sitting playing on the PlayStation 3 with Marc Muniesa. I scanned the room and saw all of the players doing their stuff, but didn’t feel comfortable enough to greet everyone—Messi, Busquets, Iniesta, Xavi, amongst others—so I walked to where Marc and Thiago were.

“Hey guys,” I said, sitting down on the corner of the sofa to watch them play.

“Hi Kate,” they said at the same time, then laughed.

“Everything alright?”

“’Course. We’re the very best, so we’re ready to kick some ass!” Marc jumped up with enthusiasm, pumping his fist in the air.

Laughing, I said, “I thought Tito taught you not to think you’re the best?”

He shrugged, “Doesn’t matter. I’m still better than this piece of shit right here,” he nudged Thiago on the ribs, who complained but burst out laughing because he knew Marc was just teasing.

“Hey, have any of you seen Cristian?” I asked suddenly, having forgotten for a second why I’d come here.

Marc and Thiago looked at each other for a minute, uncertainty in their eyes. After a slight shake of Thiago’s head, Marc sighed and said, “He went out back to the bathrooms, I think.”

Suspicious, I frowned, “You’re sure?”

Thiago jumped in, saying, “Yeah, sure.”

Just as he was saying that, the back door opened and Cristian walked in. His face lit up when he saw me sitting there, but he immediately frowned when he saw my expression. Quickly, he made his way to where I was sitting and smiled tentatively.

We hadn’t actually seen each other in almost a week because: first, we’d been avoiding each other; second, he’d been out with that red-skank girl; and third, I’d gone out with Carter a few times. It was weird. Before I’d gone to Argentina, we hadn’t gone a full week without seeing each other since we’d met.

“Hey, bear,” he said slowly, “I’m glad you could make it.”

I stood up and nodded, “Yeah, me too.” Though it didn’t feel that way that much. If ever, I was feeling a little bit awkward.

“Come with me,” he whispered and let me out of the lounge to the hallway.

The walls were pristine white, and so was the floor. If it weren’t for a few picture frames with Barcelona’s best moments at regular intervals along the walls, this hallway would’ve looked like a hospital; cold and immovable.

He turned to me then, so close that I could feel his heat radiating off of him, and sighed. “I’ve missed you, bear,” he said and hugged me tightly. Uncertainly, I wrapped my arms around his waist and buried my face in his chest, loving how his heart felt beating with mine. Instead of answering, I just nodded and tightened my arms around him as he did the same.

Cristian pulled away and looked at me. He searched my face, my eyes, until I blinked and looked away, suddenly uncomfortable with the intense scrutiny.

“Before I forget,” he started and took something out of his pocket, “this is for you.”

I tore my eyes from him to look at his hand. A tiny navy blue box was resting on his open palm. What was that?! My mind screamed at me to open it, but my arms wouldn’t respond.

Slowly, I grabbed the box and raised the lid. Inside, a silver bracelet was resting against a small strip of plush velvet fabric. I gasped.

“What’s this, Cristian?”

He was smiling when I looked up, an oddly fond expression on his face. “A present. For you.”

“Why would you give me this? It’s too much,” I protested.

His hands took the bracelet from the box gently and placed it around my left wrist, clasping it with a final sound. “It’s not. I saw this when we were visiting Atlético de Madrid while you were back home and I thought of you when I saw it. I knew right away you had to have it.”

His words, the tone of his voice, how he said it, made my heart lift and break at the same time. He thought of me when I wasn’t with him, he cared about me. But not in the way I wanted him to.

Still.

“Thank you, Cristian. This is amazing.” I hugged him again, this time happier than before.

“You’re welcome, bear.” He kissed the top of my head and I felt him smile. After a while, he pulled back and said, “I should get going, the match’s going to start soon and I need to do the warm up, but we’ll talk after, alright?”

I nodded, “Of course.”

Even though you've only posted the first part, I'm in love with Confessions! I really wish it was a full story (or mini-story at the very least) instead of just a two-shot!

There may or may not be an update for Let the Games Begin, ahahah. I’ve given up on that story. But maybe!

Confessions WILL have an update! I’m working on it this week and hopefully will have it posted very soon!

I haven’t really thought about writing another Ramsey story. I lied, I did think about continuing Your Wish, but I wasn’t sure if other readers wanted it or wanted a completely new story.
